An original and unique Kitty MacBride 'Happy Mouse' figure.
c. 1960's, This is an Extremely rare ,one off studio pottery figure made and handsigned at the base by Kitty MacBride.
Named 'Paddock' (on reverse) and measuring (w) 8cm x (H) 7cm, this figure is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.
Kitty MacBride began making happy mouse figures in her studio in Berkley Square, London. In the 1970's Beswick began making a range of 12 figurines modelled after her mice. However, the mice that were made by herself in her studio are all unique, one off examples.
